Annie E. Casey Foundation’s Atlanta Civic Site Hosts Celebration at Dunbar Learning Complex

The Annie E. Casey Foundation’s Atlanta Civic Site celebrated its two year anniversary and successes of the Dunbar Learning Complex.

The unique complex houses both Dunbar Elementary School and the Early Learning and Literacy Resource Center (ELLRC). Over the last two years the facility has witnessed improvements with the children it serves.

Comer Yates, executive director of the Atlanta Speech School delivered the Keynote Address. He sited civil rights history and the substantial parallels which we should recognize today.

The event was also highlighted by progress reports for parent and community members in attendance.
