State-of-the-schools meetings to be held in each APS Cluster

At the start of the 2012-13 school year, Superintendent Erroll Davis delivered a state-of-the-district address to speak candidly about our challenges and new work to build a culture of excellence system wide. Now, our K-12 regional executive directors and school principals will hold their own forums to provide an update on the state of the schools in each cluster. APS leaders will discuss the academic offerings in our schools and answer questions from parents, students, employees and partners. Listed below is the schedule of cluster meetings:

APS, can you please note that the N. Atlanta Cluster meeting tomorrow will be held at the PRIMARY CAMPUS of Warren Jackson Elementary, which is located at 4191 Northside Drive, Atlanta, Georgia 30342. Warren Jackson ES has 2 campuses. Thanks!

How can we say that North Atlanta does not have disparities when the cluster meeting was held at noon? Is that compatible to ALL parents or just Buckhead housewives? Do we make it convenient for housewives or working parents? There is nothing stopping them from attending evening meetings, but there is something stopping working parents–they call it work! Then we will day parents are not involved! What a slap on the faces of those who chose or need to work!
