Sam Heller has enjoyed his time at Grady High School immensely. He says his teachers have remained truly passionate about the subject matter they teach, and that passion has created an educationally vibrant community that has allowed Sam to thrive.

Additionally, Grady’s phenomenal extracurricular opportunities have been incredibly beneficial to Sam. He has especially enjoyed the speech and debate team, where, under the coaching of Lisa Willoughby, he has experienced both competitive success and personal growth. Sam has been accepted to Georgetown University, the University of Georgia and Georgia Tech. He was also a finalist for the Martin Luther King Scholarship at Emory.

The district learned today that Sam has chosen to attend Harvard University in the fall.

APS is pleased to announce that all commencement exercises will be available for online viewing via live stream by visiting https://new.livestream.com/accounts/7427971 and clicking on a specific school.
