While attending South Atlanta High School of Law and Social Justice, Benard Taylor has taken
advantage of many opportunities that have prepared him to attend the college of his choice. He ignored many negative influences, not letting anything or anyone cloud his judgment or obstruct his ambitions. Consequently, he has earned the position of Salutatorian of the class of 2015. Benard attributes his overall success to the undying support of his wonderful family, friends and teachers. The constant support he receives has molded him into the student he is today. He believes that attending college is a way of thanking those who encouraged him to succeed. It shows them that the effort they put into encouraging him to move forward was not a waste of time and energy. After graduation, Benard plans to attend a four year university and major in either biology or chemistry.
