It’s Never too Early for APS Students to think about Summer
Odyssey Atlanta is now accepting Kindergarten through 11th grade student applications for their 2016 summer enrichment program. Held at the facilities of The Westminster Schools, Odyssey’s free six-week summer program features experimental learning through field trips, overnight camping, college roads trips and projects. Not only can students learn through fun activities such as designing and marketing their own video games, but also through a challenging thematic curriculum. Occupied by activity-filled days from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Odyssey’s participants show marked improvement in core subjects and college placement standardized tests throughout the course of the summer.
Odyssey is an educational non-profit organization whose goal is to serve APS students from economically disadvantaged communities. Odyssey’s academic program focuses on students with unmet potential, preparing them for high school graduation and supporting them on their path to college. With a special partnership with APS, Odyssey only seeks motivated APS students for their intense, yet fun learning program.
